Akbarpur Airport

Akbarpur Airport is an airstrip located in Akbarpur in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The government is giving this airstrip to private investors for setting up their pilot training institutes and aircraft maintenance engineering institutes. The government has also decided to give subsidy in the landing and parking for ‘cross-country flying’ purposes, which means flying trainer aircraft from one aerodrome to another.

The Airport has a runway with asphalt surface. The length of runway is 4,260 x 75 ft (1,298 x 23 m) with 11/29 oriented. The Airport is located at an elevation of 288 ft (88 m) above mean sea level. The Airport is joint operated by Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Akbarpur Administration.
