Ghazipur Airport

Ghazipur Airport is situated in Ghazipur city in Uttar Pradesh, in India. The Airport is on the Ghazipur-Mau Road.

Ghazipur is well known for its opium factory, established by the British East India Company in 1820 and still the biggest legal opium factory in the world, producing the drug for the global pharmaceutical industry.

The Airport has a runway with asphalt surface. The length of runway is 4,800 ft (1,463 m). It is located at an elevation of 230 ft (70 m) above mean sea level.

The Airport is currently operated by Airports Authority of India (AAI).
