Sri Vari Museum is situated
in the main Tirumala town, next to the Karnataka Choultry. The Museum
describes all the significant landmarks in the history of the temple. It
also houses scriptures and photographs, which can be viewed by the
visitors all round the year. This is a newly built museum, which has
free entry for the visitors.
A large number of visitors
come to the museum every day. The Museum exhibits various sculptures,
scriptures, pictures and other artifacts, which provide an insight in
the history of the temple. Along with visiting the Sri Vari Museum, you
should also visit Sri Venkateshwara Temple, which is a major attraction
of Tirupati, and explore the various Teertham which are located around
