Regarding services to Medina and Jeddah, all Economy Class fare types receive a
30 kilogram Free Baggage Allowance (FBA).
Travelers with Malaysia Airlines may register any number of luggage pieces
during check-in, as long as the combined weight remains within their travel
class limit. Along with the FBA, customers qualify for a Cabin Baggage
Allocation. This refers to personal belongings transported and secured by
passengers in the aircraft cabin, mainly in the overhead storage bins. Note that
individuals maintain full responsibility for the supervision and safekeeping of
their cabin luggage during the entire flight.
Besides standard cabin baggage, customers may transport the listed Supplementary
Articles in the passenger cabin without charge, governed by specific
requirements.
Should luggage surpass the complimentary allocation, corresponding excess
baggage charges will apply. Alternatively, travelers have the option to acquire
additional baggage allowance in advance.
