Singapore Airlines passengers can enjoy convenient check-in with the following
options:
Online / Mobile Check-in
You can check in online via
your computer or mobile device from 48 hours to 1.5 hours before your scheduled
departure. For select cities, you may print your boarding pass or save it to
your mobile device before arriving at the airport.
If you have no checked luggage and do not require travel document, visa, or
credit card verification, you may proceed directly to the Immigration counter.
Kiosk Check-in
Skip the queues at the
airport by using our kiosk check-in service, available at the following
locations:
• Singapore Changi Terminal 2 (Row 3) and Terminal 3 (Rows 3
and 4)
• Amsterdam Schiphol (Departure Hall 3)
• Auckland Airport
International Terminal (Zone E)
• Bengaluru Kempegowda International Terminal
• Copenhagen Airport Terminal 2
• Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1 (Concourse C)
• London Heathrow Terminal 2 (Zone A)
• Los Angeles Tom Bradley International
Terminal (Aisle C)
• Melbourne Airport Terminal 2 (Zone M)
• Paris Charles
de Gaulle Airport Terminal 1 (Hall 1)
• San Francisco International Terminal
(Aisle 4)
• Tokyo Narita Terminal 1 South Wing (Zone G)
Kiosk check-in
is available unless:
• Your passport or visa isn’t machine-readable
•
Your booking is not confirmed or you are on a waitlist
• You are checking in
an unaccompanied minor
• You have booked an additional seat (e.g., for a
musical instrument)
• You require special assistance (e.g., traveling with a
pet, needing medical help, or requesting meet-and-assist services)
Automated Bag Drop
For checked baggage, use the
automated bag drop counters at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2, Row 3, and
Terminal 3, Rows 3 and 4, for a smooth and fast process.
To use the
automated bag drop, ensure you have:
• A boarding pass printed at home,
from the kiosk, or on your mobile device
• A baggage tag printed from the
kiosk
Return Check-in
If your return flight is
within 48 hours of your outbound journey, you can check in for both flights at
the same time (except for flights to/from the USA).
This service is
available at airport check-in counters and via Online/Mobile Check-in. Your
baggage will be tagged for the first leg of your trip—simply drop it off at a
check-in counter before your return flight.
Airport
Counter Check-in
If you have a confirmed booking and are
departing from Singapore Changi Airport, check in from 48 hours up to 40 minutes
before your flight departure.
The check-in counter hours are:
•
Terminal 2: 0430 hours to 2200 hours
• Terminal 3: 0430 hours to 0200 hours
For departures from other airports, check-in opening times may vary.
Checking in with Partner Airlines
Singapore Airlines has
through check-in agreements with select partner airlines. If your entire journey
is on a single Singapore Airlines booking (with SQ operating the first flight),
you may check in for all connecting flights to your final destination at once.
Please note that policies may vary, so we recommend confirming check-in timings
and procedures with Singapore Airlines in advance.
