Imphal International Airport
Imphal International Airport (IATA: IMF, ICAO: VEI) is the second
international airport built in the Northeastern region of India, after
Guwahati, and the third largest airport in the region after Guwahati and
Agartala. Located 8 km south of Imphal, the capital of Manipur, Imphal
International Airport connects northeastern India with the country's major
cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata.
Imphal International Airport is under the administrative control of Airports
Authority of India (AAI). Connecting flights to Yangon and Mandalay in
Myanmar, Bangkok in Thailand are in development.
