Duty Free Trade (ITDC)

State-run India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC) came into existence in October 1966 and has been the prime mover in the progressive development, promotion and expansion of tourism in the country.

ITDC is the pioneer of Duty Free Business in India. With the changing times, the company have also changed its business focus from operating Duty Free Shops only at the International Airports to expanding it to other locations such as Seaports etc.

These shops have World's best-known spirits, wines and top selling brands of cigarettes and tobacco and excellent arrays of 'Made in India' products like herbal cosmetics, handicrafts etc. as well as a large assortment of teas at most competitive prices.

Duty Free shops at Goa International Airport and Coimbatore International Airport are operated by ITDC. ITDC are also present at Chennai, Haldia, Kolkatta, Visakhapatnam, Mangalore and Goa Seaports.

As a part of the overall strategy of making shopping at duty free shops an incredible experience, ITDC have modeled its shops on latest designs and from time to time bring out products promotions, price off etc.
