Baramati

Located in the Pune District of Maharashtra, Baramati is situated along the banks of River Karha. Situated at an average elevation of 538 metres, Baramati is a municipal council known for its temples and agricultural exports.

There are many more religious temples in and around Baramati. Baramti was under Yadav's rule, which was later taken over by Bahamani rulers. Sidheshwara temple was constructed by famous Bapuji Naik.

Baramati has its own domestic airport known as the Baramati Airport. The Airport is situated at a distance of about 12 km from Baramati city's Baramati Railway Station. It is currently being used for general aviation and pilot training.

Pune Airport is the nearest international / domestic airport located at 110 km away. Buses and taxis are available at the Airport.
