The Kangra Art Museum is dedicated to the brilliant marvels of
Tibetan and Buddhist artwork and their rich history. Among the large
variety of its precious collectibles are jewelry, rare coin
memorabilia, paintings, sculptures and pottery.
Museum of Kangra Art was
opened on 17 January, 1990 to preserve, conserve and revive the rich
cultural heritage of Kangra region. Museum is a treasure house of
rich heritage of the valleys art and culture.
Museum is still in infancy but now the collection is increased to
1500 art object comprising miniature paintings, textiles,
sculptures, jewellery, coins and objects of cultural anthropology.
