The Park areas has several points of rainwater-harvesting which
helps in utilizing rain water in maintaining the Park instead of drawing
water from other water resources.
A community hall to facilitate the locals has been planned within the
parks which will cover an area of 7200 sq. ft to organize social
activities, functions, events, marriages, parties and other religious
gatherings.
Getting There
Hisar is well connected to
the rest of Haryana by roadways and National Highway. Bus and auto rickshaws service is the major
means of transport in the town. Hisar has its own Railway Station named as
Hisar Railway Station which is connected to the major cities of Haryana. It
is situated on the major New Delhi-Bhatinda railway line and is linked with
the major cities in India.
Hisar has its own airport named
as Hisar Airport,
roughly 12 km from the city center.
Hisar Airport currently
is use by Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation’s flying club to provide
flying training.
The nearest International Airport to Hisar is
Indira Gandhi International Airport
at New Delhi, roughly three hour drive from Hisar city. Frequent flights to
various national and international destinations take off from there.
