Orchha, a town in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, boasts off ancient palaces, crenulated forts and rich historical past. This town was built by Raja Rudra Pratap in 1501 and is located 16 kms from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. 	Ram Raja Temple The Ram Raja Temple is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage and receives devotees in large numbers regularly and is also commonly known as Orchha Temple. This is the only temple where Lord Ram is worshiped as a king and that too in a palace.
	Jhansi Fort Situated at a distance of 17 kms from Orchha is the historical city of Jhansi. Jhansi Fort or Jhansi ka Kila is a fortress situated on a large hilltop called Bangira, in Uttar Pradesh, Northern India.
	Orchha Wildlife Sanctuary A 44-sq-km island surrounded by the Betwa and Jamni Rivers, Orchha Wildlife Sanctuary is home to a wide range of animals. Ever since it was established in 1994, the sanctuary has been one of the top tourist destinations in Orchha.
