The hot springs are a major
tourist attractions in Rajgir. They are at the foot of the Vaibhava Hill.
The hot water is supposed to
come from the 'Saptaparni Caves', situated on top of the hill.
Brahmaputra is the hottest spring with water temperature being 45 degree
C. Separate bathing places for
men and women have been organised.

You can easily
get regular trains and buses from other major cities of the country to
Rajgir.

Airport, Patna is the nearest airport, about 100 kms, for Rajgir.

There are regular flights to/from
Delhi, Calcutta, Varanasi, Lucknow, Mumbai, and
Katmandu from this airport.
Rajgir has a railway station of
its own which is linked with other cities by a whole range of trains. The
nearest convenient railhead is at Gaya, about 78kms. From Gaya, there are
daily trains for Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bangalore. Taxis can
be hired from the railhead for Rajgir.
