Bathinda

Bathinda is an oft-visited place in the itinerary of Punjab. Its major attractions include Damdama Sahib, Maiser Khana, Zoological Park, Qila Mubarak and Rose Garden. The Takht Sri Darbar Sahib Damdama Sahib commemorates the site where Guru Gobind Singh prepared the full version of the Sikh scripture called Sri Guru Granth Sahib, in 1705. Qila Mubarak is a Historical National Monument of India, located in the heart of the Bathinda city. Rose Garden is a large, 10-acre garden, popular for the different varieties of rose grown therein.
