Osmanabad is a city and a
municipal council in Osmanabad district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
A religious tourist destination of Maharashtra, Osmanabad is one of the
largest cities of the state and is situated on the Deccan plateau. It is
also a municipal corporation in the district and is surrounded in the
south-west by Solapur and Ahmednagar in the north-west.
