Pimpri-Chinchwad is a city in the
Pune district in the state of Maharashtra, India. It consists of the twin
towns of Pimpri and Chinchwad which are governed by a common municipal body
(the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation or PCMC). It is located to the
North-West of Pune and is well connected to the center of Pune city via the
Old Pune-Mumbai Highway. Pimpri-Chinchwad is a major industrial hub and
hosts one of the biggest industrial zones in India.

November and March when the weather is at its best. During this time the
temperature is moderate and several festivals coincide. Taj Mahotsav, the
popular 10 day long festival is celebrated during the month of February each
year. A visit to this fair is a must for the art, craft and culture
admirers. Ram Bharat, Kailash Fair and Bateshwar Fair are the other major
eyeball grabbing festivals.

available.
By Rail: Chinchwad Railway Station or Chinchwad Station is an important halt
for Pune's suburban railway service. It is located 2 km from Chinchwad bus
stand. Pune Railway Station is 18 km away.
By Bus: It has a State Transport Bus stand Pimpri-Chinchwad Bus Stand at
Vallabhnagar. Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited operates the
public transport system in this area.
