Tourism in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) district in the Indian state of
Kerala promotes the area's hill stations, back waters, beaches, lagoons, and
wild life sanctuaries. The area is a popular tourism destination and
receives chartered flights for medical tourism, as there are more than
hundred recognised Ayurveda centres in and around the city. This is
primarily due to Ayurveda's popularity in foreign countries. Medical tourism

Kovalam Beaches
This international beach town, 12 km south of Thiruvananthapuram city,
is one of the finest beach locations in India. Kovalam has three beaches
(Lighthouse beach,Hawah beach and Samudra beach) separated by rocky
outcroppings in its 17 km coastline, the three together form the famous
crescent of the Kovalam beach. |
