Khajuraho is a historical city in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. It is regarded as one of the most famous tourist destination that lures people from all over the country.

Especially known for the appealing temples and the architectural as well as sculptural sheerness, Khajuraho is rightly called as the symbol of the medieval heritage. The Khajuraho Group of Monuments in Khajuraho comprises of temples that belongs to the religious belief of Hindus and Jains.

Kandariya Mahadeva Temple Kandariya Mahadeva Temple

Lakshmana Temple Lakshmana Temple
It is situated in the temple complex in the small village Khajuraho in Chattarpur District of Madhya Pradesh. This is the second highest amongst all the temples in this complex.
 
     
Chaturbhuj Temple Chaturbhuj Temple
This temple is one of the temples in the southern chain of the Khajuraho Monuments. This was built during the reign of the Chandelas during the 11th century. The name is so derived from ‘chaturbhuj’, which means ‘one with four arms’.

Viswanath Temple Viswanath Temple
This is another form of the developed Khajuraho style of architecture. This is a member of the whole Khajuraho Group of Monuments which is a protected site by the Archeological Survey of India. This was built in the very early 11th century by the Chandela ruler, Dhanga.
